TERMS & CONDITIONS
All purchases made through the Spread The Love website or invoiced to you via direct enquiry are final and by proceeding to checkout and entering your payment details you are agreeing to these terms.
Spread The Love pack your order with great care for shipment and all orders are clearly labelled as fragile perishable goods. Once your order leaves our premises, we cannot take responsibility for items damaged in transit. For items damaged in transit please visit contact us or your local postal service responsible for your delivery.
Spread The Love endeavour to create your orders with the utmost respect to your advised dietary requirements. At times we may need to outsource ingredients and product production. As a result, some trace elements of allergens may exist. By committing to your order you understand that these factors may happen.
TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHT
Spread The Love Picnics & Platters and its associated brands, social media content, website content and logos are trademarked and cannot be replicated or used without written approval by the Directors.
EQUIPMENT SECURITY BOND
We have a 20% security bond for the total value of your event that will cover the use of our equipment. Tepees, Tents and Movie setups incur a separate flat rate bond of $150. Overnight hireage of setups will incur 50% bond of the total event value. Your security deposit will be paid to your nominated bank account in full upon return of the equipment in a condition deemed acceptable by us. Glassware and crockery breakage will be charged at $5 per item.
EVENT BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Events include Corporate Catering, Picnics, Proposals, Gatherings and Grazing Tables. A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of your booking. Full payment will be required 14 days prior to your event date. We accept payment via bank transfer or by credit card through PayPal (a 3% surcharge applies). Prices exclude GST.
EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Events include Corporate Catering, Picnics, Proposals, Gatherings and Grazing Tables. If you need to cancel your booking within 14 days of your event, the 50% deposit will be refunded in gift vouchers to use with other products or at a later date. No refund will be given for cancellations within 7 days of your event as food and event preparations will already have been committed to. For smaller events such as The Romantic Picnic and Spread The Love Picnic for two people with 48 hours notice we can work with you to reschedule or give you a credit to use at a later time. Prices exclude GST.
PANDEMIC AND FORCED EVENT CANCELLATIONS
Events include Corporate Catering, Picnics, Proposals, Gatherings, Grazing Tables and Events. Should an event be forced to cancel due to government mandated instruction such as pandemics or natural disasters, a full refund by way of credit or gift vouchers will be offered if an event cannot be rescheduled or repurposed. No refund will be given for cancellations within 7 days of your event as food and event preparations will already have been committed to. We are happy to work with you to arrange redistribution of any foods as part of your cancelled event. For smaller events such as The Romantic Picnic and Spread The Love Picnic for two people with 48 hours notice we work with you to reschedule or give you a credit to use at a later time. Prices exclude GST.
USE OF PRIVATE LOCATIONS
Hosting of events at private locations remains the responsibility of the customer. The majority of Spread The Love events are based on the North Shore, however we would love to assist you with your event outside of this area. Event locations outside of the North Shore or Ponsonby area may incur an additional fee. Please contact us to enquire about your event.
To ensure best practice hygiene for food supply to your guests, private locations must have suitable refrigeration, shelter, power supply and drinkable running water available on site. Vehicular access to the relative proximity of the location is also required.
USE OF PUBLIC LOCATIONS
Hosting of events at public locations remains the responsibility of the customer. All regulations around use of your location in a public place will be shared with you at the time of booking where upon you agree to adhere to these regulations.
BOOKING PUBLIC LOCATIONS
Some public locations require an event permit. We are happy to book and apply for the permit at public locations on your behalf and recharge this value back to you. Bookings may be required for large groups undercover or using park facilities such as BBQ areas or reserved areas.
